Toucan Tech Inc, a Colorado corporation, operates this service and is responsible for the personal data described here. Information and sources
We receive your account name, email and login-provider profile, photos, template inputs, generated media, support messages and rights reports. We also process order, subscription and credit records, acceptance records, IP address, approximate country, security logs and service activity. Photos may contain faces and embedded metadata. Payment providers handle card credentials; do not submit card numbers, identity documents, health information or other unnecessary sensitive data to this service.
Why we process data
We use account, payment and generation data to perform the service you request; security and limited operational records to protect users and prevent fraud; and financial or complaint records to meet legal duties and resolve disputes. Where applicable, our legal bases are contract, legitimate interests in secure service operation, legal obligations, and consent for optional tools or processing that requires consent. You must have each adult subject’s permission for AI processing; your acceptance does not replace another person’s rights or any legally required explicit consent.
Photos, faces and AI providers
Photo files and reference media are sent to the selected AI provider, currently Kie or Fal, and its processing or storage infrastructure to generate your video. Face appearance can be processed to guide the result. We do not use this feature to identify you for login and do not operate our own model-training pipeline. This is not a guarantee about providers’ training, face-feature extraction or retention practices. Ask us about the current provider arrangements before uploading sensitive material; their contracts and applicable law govern their processing. We do not obtain a general advertising or public-gallery license to your uploads.
Adults only and children’s data
Accounts, purchases and generation are for people aged 18 or older who can enter a binding contract. Do not upload photos or videos of anyone under 18, even with a parent’s permission. The service is not directed to children under 13 and does not offer a parental-consent enrollment route. Age confirmation is a self-declaration, not verified identity. If you believe a child has supplied data or appears in an unauthorized upload, use Contact → Child safety or email us with the account or content reference; do not resend the image. We will investigate, restrict further collection or use where appropriate, and arrange removal or other measures required by law. An age statement does not remove applicable COPPA obligations.
Recipients and limited disclosure
We share necessary data with AI and storage providers, hosting and security services, the chosen payment and login providers, and staff or advisers who need it for support or lawful operations. We may disclose data when legally required, to address abuse, or during a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Optional analytics, advertising and chat providers load only after your cookie acceptance. We do not sell uploaded portraits for advertising. Optional advertising technologies may constitute sale, sharing or targeted advertising under some laws; you can reject them without losing core generation access.
International processing
Toucan Tech Inc is based in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different privacy laws. Where a transfer requires contractual or other safeguards, the applicable legal requirements must be met; a photo-permission checkbox alone is not an international-transfer safeguard. Contact us to request details of the providers, processing locations and safeguards relevant to your request.
Retention and deletion
Account and task records remain while the account or history is retained; media links may expire sooner. We limit retention to service needs, security, disputes and legal obligations. Removing a finished video clears its app-accessible media references and creates a provider-cleanup request for review; it does not instantly delete provider copies, accessible CDN links or backups. Account closure is a verified request with provider-removal review. Pending tasks and financial activity may need reconciliation, but do not prevent you from submitting a privacy request. Necessary financial or legal-hold records may be retained separately. Contact us about unused uploads, specific retention periods or copies held by providers; no universal third-party deletion deadline is promised.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of our decision, without unlawful discrimination. Use Privacy & data for the available account export and deletion request, or Contact → Privacy for other records and requests about someone else’s upload. We verify identity or representative authority using proportionate information. We respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain permitted extensions or refusals, and provide appeal instructions where required. You may complain to your local privacy authority. Withdrawing consent does not undo lawful prior processing.
Cookies and privacy choices
Essential cookies support authentication, language, security and your choices. Optional analytics, advertising and chat scripts require active acceptance; rejection leaves essential service features available. Reopen Cookie preferences in the footer to change or withdraw consent. A recognized Global Privacy Control signal disables these optional tools for that browser even if an older cookie says accepted. Choices are browser-specific. Some security, order and credit records are necessary operational records rather than optional marketing analytics. Cookie choices are stored for up to 365 days, the adult/terms browser receipt for up to 7 days, and optional attribution cookies for up to 30 days. Login cookies follow the applicable session lifetime.
Security and media access
We restrict account data access and use authenticated controls and signed upload receipts, but no internet service is risk-free. Providers may deliver media through bearer URLs: anyone with the link may be able to access the file. Do not share private media links or upload confidential material. Report suspected unauthorized access through Contact or our support email. We investigate incidents and make notifications required by applicable law.
Changes and contact
We update the date and communicate material changes through an appropriate service notice or account message, seeking renewed consent where legally required. A later policy does not automatically authorize unrelated reuse of old photos.
